On February 13, 2025, the MAIN Research Center at Chemnitz University of Technology hosted the Nanomedicine Focus Day, bringing together experts in spectroscopy, nanomaterials, and biomedical applications.

The event featured a plenary talk by Prof. habil. Rares Ionut Stiufiuc, discussing the latest advancements and future perspectives of spectroscopic liquid biopsy for non-invasive diagnostics. Throughout the day, keynotes and pitches covered topics such as nanomaterials for diagnostics and therapy, nanospectroscopy, and micro-robotics for biomedical applications.

A dedicated poster session showcased cutting-edge research, highlighting innovations in functional nanomaterials, quantum dots, and bio-inspired microelectronics for healthcare.
