General Assembly and Review Meeting M18

31 May 2024
On Tuesday, May 28th, the General Assembly of the GREENER project was held at the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nanosystems (ENAS) in Chemnitz (Germany). This significant event was followed by the Review Meeting on Wednesday, June 29th. The occasion brought together all the partners of the consortium to discuss the progress made in recent months regarding their respective Work Packages.

Dr. Martin Moebius, the coordinator of the GREENER project, led the assembly. He commenced the presentations with a general overview of the project and outlined the upcoming events.

The presentations that followed covered a wide range of topics:

  • Development of Single Photon Sources: This included the main results achieved in the context of task 4.1, the preparation of microlens transparent electrodes, and electron transport layers.
  • Synthesis of Quantum Dots (Task 3.1): Focused on quantum dots with emission wavelengths in the NIR and VIS spectra.
  • Design and Synthesis of Quantum Dots DNA Origami Hybrid: Explored innovative approaches in combining quantum dots with DNA origami.
  • Design and Simulation of Optical Setup: Detailed the design and simulation processes for the project’s optical components.
  • Data Processing and AI Algorithms Development: Discussed advancements in data processing and the development of AI algorithms.
  • Training and Validation of AI Algorithms: Highlighted the training and validation processes using data from measurements on various substances.
  • Sample Preparation and Flow Cell Modification: Showcased results regarding the generation and modification of flow cells with antipodes and DNA aptamers.
  • Dissemination and Exploitation: Reviewed the dissemination strategies and exploitation results achieved by the GREENER project.
